Robots

Last year I had spinal surgery. This left me with a lot of time on my hands. Unfortunatly because of the heavy medication I was on I couldn't read much to start with ( those darn words wouldn't stay still on the page). I couldn't drive for almost three months and i watched so much  TV. that became very boring very quickly so i started doodling.

And here are some of my first doodles.

These were the first in my series including some full colour robots and some watercolour ones.

I will add these other robots once i get around to taking pictures of them. But the do exist and because of that my life as well as my page began to be less blank.

Not a white page

One of the hardest things about attempting to be creative is the white page. After along time I feel like I have come out of a creative coma and my pages are no longer white.

So here I have a place to share my colour, my work, my doodles and attempts to bring my creative side back to life.

I brought myself an art journal and am slowly filling the pages..

 

Flowers and Stones

July 2012

One of my first doodle pages in my journal. Using just a uni-ball ballpoint pen. Love the contrast of the black and white, flower and stones.
But the thing that I like most about this page is that it is no longer white.
